Pakistan Posts Trade Deficit of USD 3.42 Billion in August

According to figures released by the PBS, Pakistan’s trade deficit was $3.423 Billion in August 2017, compared to a deficit of $3.204 Billion in July 2017 and a deficit of $2.65 Billion in August 2016.

Exports Improved from $1.631 billion in July 2017 to $2.069 Billion in August 2017 while imports increased from $4.835 Billion in July 2017 to $5.492 Billion in August 2017.

According to the data released, the trade deficit for July-August 2017 was $ 6.290 Billion compared to $ 4.711 Billion in the corresponding period of 2016.
