January 16, 2024 (MLN): Domestic bullion retraced on Tuesday, with the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan falling by Rs600 per tola to Rs217,300.
The Karachi Sarafa Association reported that the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold stood at Rs186,300, reflecting a gain of Rs514.
While the price of 10-gram 22-karat gold stood at Rs170,775.
Meanwhile, silver remained stable in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs2,650 per tola and Rs2,271.94 per 10-gram.
On the global front, international spot gold fell $15 or 0.74%, currently trading at $2,039 [02:44pm PST].
However, when the Karachi Sarafa Association reported the local rates, the spot rate in the international market was down by $8.
To note, 24-karat gold in Pakistan recorded a decline for the second consecutive week last week.
