March 05, 2024 (MLN): The country's total textile export registered an increase of 20% YoY to $1.41bn in February 2024 compared to $1.18bn recorded in the same period of last year, according to the statistics released by the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) on Monday.
Meanwhile, on a monthly basis, the exports of the same group fell by 3.4% MoM compared to $1.46bn in January 2024.
Within 8MFY24, the exports of textiles stood at $11.15bn, decreasing by 1% YoY compared to Rs11.22bn in 8MFY23.
To recall, Pakistan's total exports in February decreased by 7.84% MoM to $2.57bn compared to $2.79bn in January 2024, as per the data reported by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on March 01.
Conversely, compared to February 2023, exports increased by 17.54% YoY.
