NETSOL awarded World Bank’s funded project worth Rs450mn

June 29, 2022 (MLN): NETSOL Technologies Limited has been awarded a contract worth over Rs450 million, namely “Workflow and Document Management System” from the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (GoKP), funded by the World Bank.

The scope of the project includes digitization and automation of 32 departments and 171 mega processes and sub-processes, identification of legal and regulatory changes, implementation of Workflow and Document Management System along with three years' post-implementation support.

Through this contract amounting to Rs450 million plus, the company will attain benefits in terms of the provisioning of both license, major services as well as post-implementation support.”

Under the KPRM and PRM program of GoKP, an integral component of the digital governance framework is the automation of Government to Government (G2G), and Intra-Government processes. Switching from manual document handling to automated document management is the first step toward digital governance.

This will enable the GoKP to ensure transparency and efficiency while communicating and processing documents necessary for inter and intradepartmental communication and processing.

The stock of the company is trading at Rs102.98 [1:39 PST], up by 13 paisa or 0.13% DoD.
