Midday Update: Pakistan Stock Exchange in ‘Free Fall’

Pakistan Stock Exchange has lost more than 700 points during last two hours as investors see the legal proceedings against the ex-PM and Finance Minister with caution.

Of the 85 companies traded, 79 are down, 5 are up.

KSE-100 trading down 1.77% at 41274.54 points, losing 758 points.

Cement Sector -160, Fertilizers -100 and Commercial Banks are down -97 points at the moment. Cement Stock have taken the worst hit; Bestway Cement BWCL closing on lower lock at -5.00%, Maple Leaf Cement MLCF -4.99% and Lucky Cement LUCK at-3.65%.

In the Fertilizer sector; Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim FFBL -3.35%, Fauji Fertiziler FFC -2.65% and Fatima Fertilizer FATIMA -2.82% have been the worst hit.
