January 11, 2022 (MLN): Gold rates in the domestic bullion market slipped by Rs200 per tola on Tuesday as 24-karat was available at Rs126,000 per tola compared to Rs126,200 per tola yesterday, Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Group reported.
On a similar note, the price of silver also remained static as 24-Karat silver and 10-gram of silver were available at Rs1,450 per tola, and Rs1,243 respectively.
In the international market, the price of gold witnessed a surge of $7 to stand at $1807 an ounce as the dollar and Treasury yields retreated on the back of nomination hearing of Jerome Powell, Chair Federal Reserve.
