Dec 05, 2019 (MLN): Pakistan's Forex Reserves increased by USD 415.50 Million or 2.67% and the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at USD 15,993.20 Million on Nov 29, 2019.
According to data published by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) its reserves increased by USD 430.60 Million .
In this fiscal year SBP reserves have increased by US$ 1.8 billion. The FX swaps / forward liabilities have reduced by US$ 1.95 billion between June-Oct2019. Increase in the liquid SBP reserves and the reduction of the swaps / forward liabilities reflects the build-up of FX buffers.
