July 03, 2023 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) rose by $533 million or 15.07% WoW to $4.07 billion during the week ended on June 23, 2023, according to the data released by the central bank on Monday.
The increase is mainly attributed to realization of $300m proceeds of GoP commercial loan.
Similarly, the country's total reserves rose by $477m or 5.38% WoW to $9.34bn.
The reserves held by commercial banks fell by $56m or 1.05% WoW to $5.27bn.
