Pakistan, World Bank sign a $200 million project for COVID-19 response

April 3, 2020 (MLN): ‘The Govt of Pakistan and World Bank have signed a $200 million project for the covid-19 response,’ the Minister for Economic Affairs, Hammad Azhar tweeted on Friday.

He further said that this sum shall be utilized for emergency preparedness/response, emergency cash transfers to poor, emergency food supplies for quarantined populations, mitigation of impacts in education.
