June 11, 2019: Federal budget for the next fiscal year will be presented in the National Assembly today (Tuesday).
Prime Minister's Advisor on Finance Dr. Hafeez Shaikh will present the budget emphasizing on austerity, fiscal discipline, external sector management and protection of the poor.
The meeting of National Assembly for budget will start at 5 pm in the afternoon at Parliament House.
The budget is aimed at ensuring economic stabilization and providing economic stimulus for sustainable growth.
