October 25, 2023 (MLN): Atlas Honda Limited (PSX: ATLH) has decided to cut its ex-factory car prices in Pakistan by up to Rs300,000, as revealed in a notice issued by the company to dealers today.
The change in prices is effective from October 25, 2023.
It is important to note that ATLH's price reduction follows price cuts byIndus Motor, Lucky Motor Corporation, and MG Motors.
The car brands have decided to pass on the forex benefit of PKR appreciation against USD to its customers.
The army-backed crackdown, along with other governmental administrative measures to restrict illegal dollar outflows, has significantly strengthened the local currency against the greenback.
Car manufacturers in the country rely heavily on imported items, hence this comes as a crucial benefit to them.
