Aamir Khan re-appointed SECP commissioner

December 07, 2021 (MLN): The government has re-appointed Aamir Ali Khan as Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) commissioner for a period of three years, a government notification showed on Tuesday.

“The federal government is pleased to re-appoint Mr. Aamir Ali Khan as Commissioner SECP for a further term of three years with effect from December 6, 2021,” the notification read.

It further added that on Khan’s re-appointment as commissioner, the government is pleased to appoint him chairman SECP.

Mr. Khan was appointed chairman earlier in August, 2019.

He possesses extensive and diversified experience spreading over 25 years in corporate banking and capital markets.
