According to the Pakistan Central Cotton Committee, cotton crop continues to progress well. However, instances of white fly are increasing in Punjab with comparison to last week reports. Concurrently, pink boll worm and army worm are also being reported across Punjab rising above ETL level in most of the cotton area.
Whereas, Sindh crop is progressing towards maturity hence sucking pest incidences are declining at a steady pace.
Prices of seed cotton remained between 2600-2800.
