September 29, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices inched higher in the local bullion market on Wednesday as the price of single tola of 24-karat gold price went up by only Rs400 to settle at Rs113,700 per tola. While 10-gram gold price closed at Rs97,480, up by Rs344, Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association reported.
The price of gold witnessed a decrease of Rs200 per tola in Pakistan on Tuesday.
On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver remained stagnant at Rs1,400. Likewise, the price of 10-gram silver stayed flat at Rs1,200.27.
In the international market, a slight dip in UDS bond yields increased the appeal for non-interest-bearing bullion as it surged by $9 and was avalaible at $1,741 an ounce, while silver was traded at $22.65 an ounce.
