APTMA reports decline in exports for 7MFY23

February 2, 2023 (MLN): The textile industry in Pakistan has been dealt a blow as the All-Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) has released a report indicating a decrease in exports for the first 7 months of the current fiscal year (FY23).

According to the data, exports have fallen by 8% YoY compared to the corresponding period in the previous fiscal year (FY22).

The situation was even more dire in January, with a decrease of 12% YoY compared to the same period in the previous year.
