Discomfort is increasing in government employees as Punjab government has not yet issued notification pertaining to hike in salaries for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-18.
Punjab government has hiked salaries by 10 percent in current budget.
Contrary to that, federation has issued notification pertaining to salary increase on July-3.
Sources informed our correspondent that Punjab’s finance ministry has not yet forwarded draft to Punjab Chief Minister regarding hike in salary.
