OGRA Proposes Reduction In Petrol and Diesel Prices

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has prepared a summary for the new oil price to be effective from August 1, 2017 where it has proposed a cut in petrol and diesel prices while increase in kerosene and light diesel oil prices.

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has cut in high speed diesel price by Rs 5.07 per liter and proposed new price from next month would be Rs 74.83 per liter. The price of petrol has been suggested to be trimmed by Rs 3.67 per liter to Rs 67.63 per liter.

Meanwhile the OGRA has proposed increase in kerosene and light diesel price by Rs 13 and Rs 10.01 per liter to Rs 57 and Rs 54.01 per liter respectively.

The OGRA has forwarded the summary to ministry of petroleum which after seeking approval from ministry of finance, the new price would be announced on July 31, 2017
