February 06, 2023 (MLN): MCB Arif Habib Saving and Investing (MCBAH) announced its half-year financial results for the period ending December 31, 2022, with a profit after taxation of Rs141.51 million, compared to Rs138.08mn in the same period last year.
The earnings per share for the period were Rs1.97, compared to Rs1.92 in the same period last year.
However, the profitability of the company decreased by 8.26% YoY on a quarterly basis, reaching Rs67.02mn against Rs73.06mn in the corresponding period last year.
The total revenue of the company for 1HFY23 was Rs581.79mn, a surge of 23.37% YoY.
Administrative expenses increased by 26.98% YoY and selling and distribution expenses increased by 65.71% YoY.
The company paid Rs71.32mn in taxes compared to Rs138.08mn in the same period last year.
