December 15, 2024 (MLN): The federal government has kept the price of petrol unchanged at Rs252.1 per litre for the next fortnight, according to a notification issued by the Finance Division today.
The price of High Speed Diesel (HSD) has been decreased by Rs3.05 per litre to Rs255.38.
Similarly, the rates of Kerosene (SKO) and Light Diesel Oil has been reduced by Rs3.32 and 2.78 per litre, respectively.
"The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has worked out the consumer prices of petroleum products in view of the fluctuations in the international market in the last fortnight," the notification reads.
The updated prices will be effective from December 16, 2024, are as follows:
"The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority has worked out the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight based on the price trends in the international market during the last two weeks," reads the notification.
The federal government has raised the price of petrol by Rs3.72 to Rs252.10 per litre.
To recall, in the last fortnight, the government raised the price of petrol by Rs3.72 per litre to Rs252.1, because of the international rates.
